I recently retired two years ago (October 31, 2007) as Chief of Police for a Technical College in Central Texas and I have been a police officer for 24 years.  I have worked with and still work with a great staff & student population .</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>As a secondary interest in my occupation, I have consulted and taught </B><B>Forensic Investigative Hypnosis </B><B>for police investigators.  </B><FONT SIZE="2" COLOR="#000080" FACE="Arial" ><B>Hypnosis, as an investigative and forensic tool, has been utilized by law enforcement in the United States on a constant basis since 1970.  The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled in favor of the use of hypnosis in criminal cases. The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals and most states have upheld convictions IN WHICH hypnosis was utilized by law enforcement officers.
